With over 15 years of experience, he has mentored student-athletes at every level, helping guide them to top academic and athletic programs. Through his work, Todd supports athletes, families, and organizations in navigating the athlete journey, using basketball as a platform to build identity, discipline, and character. I built The Basketball Firm because I knew families deserved better than what the market was offering them.
God led me from a few years of college basketball into decades of working with families — helping you all get the training, development, and information you need during one of the most important times in their lives.

How we got here
For years I've had the same conversation with basketball parents. It usually starts with hope and ends with frustration.
They tell me their kid has been grinding since elementary school — private trainers, AAU teams, showcase camps. But now their child is a junior, and they still don't understand how recruiting actually works. They ask: Did we miss something? Are we too late?
The answer is almost always the same: They didn't miss anything. The system failed them.
There is no shortage of basketball talent in America. There are millions of kids who can shoot, dribble, and defend. But there's a massive shortage of families who understand what college coaches are actually looking for. And it's not just skills.
Why I do this
I wrote The Blueprint Guide because I was tired of watching talented kids get overlooked. Not because they couldn't play — but because their families didn't know the game within the game. This is the guide I wish I could hand to every parent who walks into our gym on Day 1.
That's the work. Doing it one family at a time, and now — through the Blueprint Guide and the broader ecosystem of The Basketball Firm — at scale.
